About Us



Following an extensive refurbishment The Rosendale was reopened in June 2007, by Mark and Sharlyn van der Goot, the team behind the award winning and critically acclaimed restaurant The Greyhound at Battersea.

By converting the old Rosendale into a stylish but informal pub and dining room, Mark and Sharlyn have created the kind of place that they both love – a welcoming setting in which to enjoy great food and drink at accessible prices.

It is their aim to offer exceptional quality and choice in comfortable surroundings. The Rosendale will combine an excellent knowledge of wine and extensive beer and ale selections with well-priced bar and restaurant menus.

The food at The Rosendale will focus on provenance and the use of only the finest ingredients, sourced when possible from Kent and Sussex.

The Rosendale seats up to 55 people in the dining room, with a 60 capacity bar area in addition to the spacious outdoor terrace open throughout the summer months.
